Hi.
I have a very kids and family simple site, and at the top of each of the 6 pages, I have links for Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, etc. When I add Page 7, I have to go and add a link for it on the other 6. When I add Page 8, I have to go into the other 7 and add a new link to it. This is getting old. Is there a way, from within each of my pages, that I can "call" a document, like "Links.html", and then just keep that ONE html file updated? You follow? How do I do it? What's the syntax? Am I talking about DHTML? I don't need any animation, just the ability to maintain just one list of links to all of my pages. Thanks! (I hope this question hasn't been asked like a thousand times already... I didn't see anything that resembled it...)

I have had the same problem in the past and there dowsnt seem to be an easy answer to it.
I overcame it by purchasing Xara menumaker http://www.xara.com/products/menumaker/ Once i had mastered the program I was able, by changing the colours, to have a simple text link which when needed changing I just did it once in menu maker then uploaded the new files. |
