    Default Error Using Link Rel Print with Alternate Document

    Hi, hope this constitutes a bug report.

    On http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...printstyle.htm you describe how one can use
    HTML Code:
    <link rel=alternate media=print href="printversion.doc">
    to specify an alternate document for printing, even if the document isn't html. You invite the reader to test this by printing the page. When I test this by printing the page, I get a blank page (with the url of the word doc at the bottom, so no my printer isn't out of ink).

    Testing on my own site using a pdf instead of a word doc results in the same problem.

    I am using IE6. Thanks!

    ps - it could be that my IE isn't normal, I'm at work. Love to hear if others have this problem, or if there is some sort of setting that I should change to make it work.

    This "script" has multiple problems, and is no longer recommended by DD; in fact, I seem to recall that it's on the "to remove" list. Use an alternate stylesheet instead.
