Problem with layout difference

hello all,

firstly the problem here is, my webpage looks perfect on the development and the same page when uploaded to production, changes the layout.

Now my code is something like this....i have placed an image which looks like a big container box and the whole content is put on it...using div and defined layer.

Like mentioned, it looks good on development environment and when moved to production, the image which appears as container box is moved to right of the webpage while the content which is placed on it, still appears in the right place.

Someone pls help. Thanks in advance
