Default Chrome Drop Down Menu Crashes in IE 6.x

When I added the chrome drop down menu, IE crashes when navigating with it about 5x a day. The crashes also on 3 other computers. I removed the chrome menu and I don't see the crashes anymore.

Anyone have any idea as to what is causing it?

Our website in development is currently here (I temporarily disabled the chrome menu): http://dev.timbercon.com

Anyone with input is very much appreciated,

Warning: Please include a link to the DD script in question in your post. See this thread for the proper posting format when asking a question.

This is the first time I've heard of such an issue in IE6. To confirm the problem, could you put up a test page with the chrome menu enabled, and be as detailed as possible how one might go about duplicating the problem.

    Default Chrome drop down menu

    Script: Chrome Drop Down Menu

The script is actively working here, but continues to crash periodically. It seems to occur when repeatedly using the drop down menu. Perhaps if the existing page isn't fully loaded and another page is chosen from the menu, it may cause problems in IE?

I've tried simulating the problem with my IE6, by navigating through pages using the menu, sometimes before the page has fully loaded, though I can't duplicate the problem. I also did a memory leak check for your site to see if something on it is consuming excessive memory, and everything checks out fine. Is there any commonality with your 3 computers that may explain why your page crashes in them while not on, say, mine?

My only theory, assuming there is a problem, is that another CSS or JavaScript on your page is conflicting with the CSS or JavaScript of Chrome Menu, causing the instability. IE6's rending of CSS is buggy in some areas, and CSS rules have been known to crash the browser. But the bottom line is though, I can't duplicate the problem...

This crashing issue has appeared to have gone away. I haven't had it crash in a while now and our fiber optic cables site: http://www.timbercon.com/ has been live and used by customers for a couple months now- no reports of any chrome menus having probs.

My best guess is that it may have been a conflict with other javascript?
