Do you know much about mapping services
Hi there,
firstly I hope I've come to the right section....!?
I'm trying to gather as much info as I can on mapping services.
Google Maps are a great example http://maps.google.co.uk/ , though ultimately i'm looking for something that would work to search for properties to rent in England..
Do you know of any mapping & local interest data suppliers who will offer a white label service (i.e. so you can re-brand without referring to the underlying supplier) for integration into your own site?
thanks in advance for anything you can offer,

I can't imagine how much money google spends on their maps. And they're the ones who like giving stuff out for free, and they don't do it. I doubt there are any like that.
Google does have ways to integrate it into pages, though, but I am not sure how.
I've seen scavenger hunts, a site that maps garbage items that might be of use in New York by address (like old chairs and such), and random other things.
However, I have no idea how to use it or how easy/allowed it is.

Sure.
I think it must be legal, but I'm just not sure how accessible it is. complex, surely.
Good luck... report back if it works out well
