a little iframe help for the newbie

Hi guys

i neeed a little help

i have a main page called index.html with 5 links on that main page, there's also an iframe on the main page. What i want is to load external pages using the links on my main page and have them load into the iframe also located on the main page, bare in mind that every link is a different page.
