    Question IE X Firefox

    I have a website ( http://www.poplink.com.br ) created in Frontpage 2000.

The display in IE is good.

The display in Firefox is bad.

How to make the presentation in Firefox equal the presentation in IE?

Microsoft has this cool little way of programs that don't work together. Just cause they have the same name dosen't meant that they will work together well. Also Frontpage is supposed to be used with explorer not firefox. They didn't make that program with firefox in mind. So don't use frontpage

    Indeed.

Microsoft is the definition of incompatible... they hate competition and will do anything to make sure it doesn't work.

for example, I've heard they purposefully put bugs in their IE 5.0 browser for the mac so you'd not like using macs and go back to PCs.

I had no trouble in Firefox 1.5 or IE6 with SP1. In fact Firefox worked much better than IE.

The code FrontPage produces is rather abominable, and quite a lot of it is tailored only to IE. I suggest you create your pages yourself, or if you absolutely must have a WYSIWYG editor, try Nvu.
