    Red face phpBB

    Hi there everyone.

    Me again (Samsoske)!

I have recently put another one of my sites ( http://www.ovalinfinity.xmgfree.com ).

And have created a phpBB ( with cPanel ). But I would like to know if anyone could explain to me the different ways to change the color of the BB.

When I try to create a new style, I dont know what the names apply to.

Example, table header. I thought that was the heads for all the post ect. But it ends up being the border....

Maybe you get what I am trying to say ?
Is the a laybled image that tells the names of the parts of the BB.

    My forum is at http://www.ovalinfinity.xmgfree.com/forums

    Many Thanks in advance....

phpbb.com has an entire knowledge base dedicated to the subject.

That's a much better place to ask than here.

I know from messing with my own php based forum (ipb, not phpbb), that it's incredibly complex and hard to navigate... just to find the code for something. I've changed stuff, but it's all interlaced and stuff.... like 200 700-line php pages. Insane.

So... yeah, ask where people do this regularly... just too much for someone unfamiliar to the system to do much with.

phpBB is free as well. I've heard good things about it, but don't know if it's 'simple'... or if it's complex in a good or bad way... but people like it

I use PunBB and I prefer it over phpBB. Very customizable.

SpinkBB looks handy. PunBB itself doesn't seem to have as many features as phpBB, though. Perhaps someone should write something like SpinkBB for phpBB.

PunBB is really just a base its up to the user to do what they want, by installing Mods(Plugins).
