Slideshow Fade-In

I've used the Fade-In Slideshow a number of times with great success. One question, however...Do all of the images preload before the slideshow starts to work? Or is the preload function just preloading the next image?

I've used the script with up to 12 images, which seems to work fine on high speed connections. But I'm curious if people on dial-up have to wait for all 12 images to download?

Currently the preload function does preload all images at once, or at least attempts to. If your images are very large in size, I can see a delay for people on dial ups, though high speed really shouldn't be any problem.
