Date and Time Script

I used the Dynamic Countdown Script II and followed the directions. The script works fine when I first save it. If I reenter the page to edit anything else the date and time will not display when the page is saved again. If I go back to the HTML code, it still exists.
Can you help?
I do not write a lot of code...only know the basics. Most of what I do on my site is not in HTML...more like front page entry.
I appreciate your help.

Most likely your HTML editor either modifies the page inadvertantly every time you save it, disabling the script in the process, or there is another script on the same page interferring with this one...

I see now that I did not post correctly, and will do so in the future.
I do not have two scripts on the page, so I believe the HTML editor is modifying the script. Is there a way for me to prevent this from happening?

Some editors (in fact a lot of HTML editors) have a nasty habit of changing script properties everytime you open that page up. You have 2 choices here, keep putting the script back in everytime you edit the page or get an editor that doesn't modify.
