Once it was done i checked it and i noticed there were no credits, i asked him why is this hapening he replied " the script dsidint have no credits included " i said OK. But i aded somthing saying: Script for slideshow provided by www.dynamicdrive.com. At the end.
    Ive read you terms of use and it seems like i need to add more stuff...

    I'm not on staff here. Of the folks who post here, only ddadmin is on staff. However, I can assure you that, from looking at the demo page for this script (Lightbox image viewer), your tech person has followed the instructions found there faithfully as far as the credit goes. The fact that this is technically in violation of the DD usage agreement is really more the fault of DD than anyone else in this particular case. The demo page should be updated to to show:

    Step 1: Insert the below code in the HEAD section of your page:

    Code:
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="lightbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    <script type="text/javascript" src="lightbox.js">

    /*
    	Lightbox JS: Fullsize Image Overlays
    	by Lokesh Dhakar - http://www.huddletogether.com

    	For more information on this script, visit:
    	http://huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox/

    	Script featured on Dynamic Drive code library Jan 24th, 06':
    	http://www.dynamicdrive.com

    	Licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License - http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/
    	(basically, do anything you want, just leave my name and link) */

    </script>
    Instead of what it currently does show on the demo page for Step 1, unless Creative Commons specifically states otherwise and/or the actual author requested it be listed the way it is on the demo page.

    Your addition of:

    Script for slideshow provided by www.dynamicdrive.com.
    at the bottom of your page, though encouraged and appreciated, is not required.
    - John

    Thanks John for explaining DD's usage terms so well, and yes, he's not even a staff

    With the lightbox scripts though, I deliberately decided not to include any DD credit in the visible page's source, as it's all about giving credit where credit is due. We're merely including this script on DD per the author's wishes, and had no part in its creation. Coupled that with the amount of work put into the script by the author, it's only fair we don't try and distract from that work in any way.

    So bottom line, if a script on DD has the credit notice included, then you should not remove it. If it doesn't, then that means this is an exception to the rule.

    Hi:
    Yes, in the case of the lightbox script, what you had is fine.
