Question Navigational Menu in an upward direction

As you see, I need links to go up (along the direction of the vertical red arrows) when I click on the yellowish links. I need sublinks too (along the horizontal arrows).

There would be a layer containig a frame in the main background (grey marked area).. I'd like the links be on top of it.

It would be nice too if there is a fast fade out/in.

    I'd appreciate your help,
    Thanks

Whilst we all appreciate what you are trying to do... just some constructive comments. Taking all the different screen sizes and resolution set-up around the world. The only two certainties on the www are the top of the page and the left side of the page. Taking this into acct, if you have set-up your screen for 1024x768 and someone views it with a screen setting of 800x600 they would have to scroll to see the menu every time. I would suggest you re-think your layout to have a better overall effect on your site.
    Very Best Rgds, Simonf

I appreciate your comment too, but I do need such script. My homepage won't be attracting a lot of visitors, and I know it. It's just a small space for me and friends. And I'm sure it's very rare nowadays for people to have their screen res. set to less than 1024*768.

Could anyone please help me with such script?

    Thanks

Here's an example (but it's a paid website):

Well, since it seems nobody really wants to help, I'll simplify it even more:

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...pmenuindex.htm
This a DD drop-down script. I want it to open links upwards instead of downwards.

    Could this be done?
