Trying to change image from dropdown

Hi first post so be gentle!!!

I'm trying to make a number plate generator

Where you can input your reg numberinto a text field and it comes up in a seperate box

Then I want to change the txt font/colour and add images on the side of the txt/image via drop down menus...

Can somebody start me of on the right track??
Any help much apperciated as i haven't got a scooby doo how!!!!!

hmmmm.... i'm trying to understand what you are wanting to do but i'm not getting it, can you try to explain just a little more, maybe post some HTML of what you want it to look like
