Urgent help with graphic

Hi,

I have been trying to type in White Text over the image attached. Whenever I deselect the toll after typing the color changes. Am I doing something wrong? Also, the image changes the color when I try to type over the image. Image is not locked when I check by right clicking on it but in layers it shows its locked.

what program as you using? and if it is that difficult, why not just place it as the background to a table and put white text over the top?

1. Make a new layer.
2. Type text in chosen color.
3. Save.

If that doesn't work, then I have no clue.

What program, what are you doing exactly... 'cause it just can't be right... Sorry...

skilled1's suggestion is good. Never incorporate text into an image when you can layer it over the top. This allows more flexibility.
