Scroll bar Color change

I have looked through the archives but was unable to find the post.

I’m looking to change to Color of the vertical scroll bar & its background.

If anybody uses the code please can you share it.

I would suggest that browser addons/extensions are the way to go...

Firefox browser:-

Chrome browser:-
Custom Scrollbars

Bear in mind though, you can only play around with your browser
but, thank gooness, not your visitors.

The post you are looking for is probably out of date. The code needed to change scrollbars appears to have changed over the years. For entertainment purposes I have found the following link to be useful:

I agree with Coothead that many people may not be as receptive to having their scrollbar colors changed from their default. Needs vary though.

Use the Scrollbar thumb color palette by left-clicking and dragging the small circle. HSV bar sliders can also be dragged up and down to select different shades. Choose a track bar color by dragging the circle within the Scrollbar track color palette
