Web design is the process of designing and developing websites. It involves creating the layout, structure, and overall look and feel of a website. Web designers use a combination of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create visually appealing and functional websites that are optimized for the web. They also consider factors such as user experience (UX) and search engine optimization (SEO) when designing websites.
Graphic design, on the other hand, is the process of creating visual content for various mediums such as print, digital, and broadcast. Graphic designers use elements such as typography, color, and imagery to create designs that communicate a message or convey a brand identity. They create designs for things like logos, brochures, billboards, packaging, and more.

Graphic design is primarily used for print, whereas web design is primarily used on the web and online. A graphic designer does not need to be knowledgeable about programming, speed, and other technical aspects of web design.

Graphic design and web design are both important facets of the digital world. They both require a creative eye, as well as technical skills. However, there are some key differences between the two.

Graphic design is more focused on the visual aspects of a project, such as the layout, colours and overall look and feel. A graphic designer may also create illustrations, logos and other graphics. Web design, on the other hand, is more concerned with the functionality and user experience of a website. A web designer needs to be able to code, as well as create attractive and user-friendly designs.

Web design and graphic design are related but different fields. Web design refers to the process of creating and designing websites, including the layout, user interface, and user experience. Graphic design, on the other hand, focuses on creating visual content, such as logos, typography, and branding materials for both print and digital media. While both fields share some common principles, such as color theory and composition, they require different skill sets and approaches due to the different media they work with.
