    Hi there theremotedr,

it looks like you're going to have to get your wallet out then.

Luckily for me, I've always avoided all things Apple, like the plague,
and my ten year old Dell desktop is still going strong.

@coothead I was thinking about this issue still.

Iím thinking of using majority of the code in use so far but for a specific size iPad to use a different code when in landscape view only.
I understand that you donít use iPad but asking for your input to start me off & I will add media queries & style it etc.

So we will still use the main 640 x 480 image.
Currently below we have columns & rows of thumbs .

How about we just use a long row of thumbs.
It would work like this Example.

    Say we have 50 thumbs.
Only say 5 can be seen on the screen.
3rd thumb has a border & is the default trigger image.
User can move thumbs left to right BUT what ever is the 3rd thumb will also be shown as the main 640 x 480 image.
    .

    So thumbs would be.
    1 CAT
    2 DOG
    3 BIRD
    4 HORSE
    5 RABBIT

So main image will show BIRD

    User scrolls through thumbs.

    1 PLANE
    2 CAR
    3 BOAT
    4 BIKE
    5 LORRY

So main image will show BOAT

Not sure how to allow user to scroll through images.

    Have a nice day.

I will continue to also look.

    Something like this.
    https://tympanus.net/codrops/2011/09...image-gallery/

Thumbs below main image on mine.
Trying to save time by using as much of my existing code as possible.
    Thansk.

    Hi there theremotedr,

I have returned to this iPad image of yours...

...and if, as you say, nothing appears above it could be possible
that your iPad has a problem with the javascript.

I ran a check on the caniuse site and found that "use strict"
    might be a problem.

If you open the bikegallery.js file in your editor you can safely
remove it with no ill effects.

You may even find that your old IPad responds well - perhaps with
    the webkit prefixs mentioned here...

    Hi,
All kinds of issues with that one so deleted.

I have not got this one working.

    https://www.theremotedoctor.co.uk/standard.html

If you would like to help & have time can you.

1, take a look at the file as there might be rubbish in there that is not needed.

2, Previuously you had stripped out css & js from the main file & had these on their own in the correct folder.

Tomorrow i will add my photos to the file.

My goal is that when the ipad is in landscape mode this page that im working on will be shown.
When in portrait mode this one will be shown https://www.theremotedoctor.co.uk/bikegallery.html

    Make sense ?
