Default new site; problem with loading page

    hi,

    i'm having a problem that i can't figure out.

    on loading my site:

    http://www.makeovermagic.org

the first screen loads fine -- however, clicking on the "enter" button takes FOREVER!! and on the bottom right it says "downloading from google.com" - the page eventually loads -- it's a simple "about" page and doesn't have anything but text and a couple of links on it.

why is this happening -- nothing i do works to speed it up.

    Marsha

p.s. site is still under construction, so don't mind the incompleteness of it.

It works fine for me. It could be your computer or something.

Google? There are no references to Google on that page. It's probably due to a toolbar or some other form of adware/spyware you have installed.

    hi twey & benslayton,

that would be great if it's just my computer -- i usually test my website on other computers, but i haven't had a chance.

Google? There are no references to Google on that page. It's probably due to a toolbar or some other form of adware/spyware you have installed.

in my original post it should have said "bottom left" corner -- on my computer it shows "downloading from Google" (or something close to that) -- i'll have to try going to other computers to see what happens.

    thanks for taking the time.
