Beginner's blues

Hi everyone,

I'm a real newbie to css, and i'm tryin to do two things. Firstly i'm trying to use a style sheet to display an image in a layer, but as the image is the same on each page, i don't want the image to reload or flash every time i click on a new page.

Secondly i'm tryin to have all my text the same size, so that if someone's browser was set to large fonts, the css code would force the text to keep its size. Here's the css:

I'm not really sure whether i've put it in right, but its not causing any effect on the page yet. Anyway thanks very much in advance,

The first is impossible; the second is impractical. If someone has their browser set to use large fonts, it's probably because they need large fonts; making your page unreadable for aesthetic purposes is not a good idea.

I've got the text sorted now, it was just so it could fit in side an area on an image, but i take your point.
