Switch Content Script II

I love the switch content script available on this website. I have a quick question.. how would I go about integrating the ability to switch out the background color of the span class for "switchcontent"? I'm currently looking into this functionality.. but any help on speeding up the process would help.

Not sure what you mean by 'switch out'. You can add a property/value pair to the style:

width: 400px;
border: 1px solid black;
border-top-width: 0;
background-color:lightblue;
}
