I study at the institute on distance learning. So I decided to start learning programming. Help. Where to begin?

First of all you should define what is your area of interest in programming - apps, websites, something else? On the basis of this you can decide which programming language to choose. Though it can be hard to define it right away, without any experience. So you can start with Java, C/C++, Swift - they are quite similar and if you learn one of them it is easier to learn the others. But Java is the most universal. Anyway, just chose the language and watch some youtube tutorials - I believe there's no much need in buying courses if you can reach the basic level for free. Plus you'll understand if you even like it.
