Question Advanced RSS Ticker (Ajax invocation) - help required

I'm having slight trouble configuring this script to feed a custom RSS file.

The demo page is at http://www.wc-sc.co.uk/demo.htm.

As you can see, it loads the BBC RSS feed. The one above is my custom RSS at http://www.wc-sc.co.uk/scripts/news.xml. However, this it will not load.

Any ideas? I'm not too hot on PHP, but I've configured these exactly to the instructions...

    Many thanks,

Inside your "bridge.php" script, is the RSS feed for "CNN" correctly pointing to the URL of your feed? I ask this because it doesn't seem like LastRSS is able to retreive the feed associated with CNN: http://www.wc-sc.co.uk//lastrss/bridge.php?id=CNN The loading process just hangs indefinitely.

Yep, the URL is correct (it's the one written in the first post - click it and it takes you there...)

Could it be something on the server side, rather than an error in the scripts?

Your URLs are returning a page not found at the moment for me. Anyhow, the first step is to verify that LastRSS is installed and working properly. This is done as mentioned by directly calling the bridge script with the RSS feed in question, and making sure it returns the proper RSS feed in XML format. For example:

    http://www.wc-sc.co.uk//lastrss/bridge.php?id=CNN
