    Default Menu script with external page for web site pages?

    I have a large web site that will have a new web page almost every day.

    Rather than the exhausting work of updating every single web page to show a new link and then uploading all those pages,
    I am looking for a responsive menu script where all of the menu links are in one page (external) which can easily be updated with the new web pages and automatically then updates the menu of the web sites many web pages.

    Which of the scripts would users recommend as the best overall for cross-browser, responsive use?

    Thank you so much

    Suppose we have a website consisting of 3 HTML pages designed with ... page containing only the menu bar and the links that it needs to CSS and JS files.

    Glad to welcome you. Creating a menu on all pages is not a difficult task. In order not to keep up to date with the code, you can open the article: light-it.net/blog/13-things-you-should-know-before-creating-a-healthcare-app/, in which there is a ready-made code. In order to create a menu on all pages, you just need to enclose its html-text in document.write (), put it in a .js file and call this file in a specific place on each page.

    Hello! You can create the menu to all pages easily using plugins to your website. WP plugins help to make that in couple steps. WP pages manager can solve that task.

    Try with the below steps

    Step 1: Create one external file which will contain all the menus
    ex: menu.html

    step 2:load that external file using below script,

    In this #navigation will be the id for a div where we will load menu

    Code:
    	$(function() {

    		$("#navigation").load("menu.html");

    	    function activeNav() {
    			var pgurl = window.location.href.substr(window.location.href.lastIndexOf("/")+1);
    		     $("#nav ul li a").each(function(){
    		          if($(this).attr("href") == pgurl || $(this).attr("href") == '' )
    		          $(this).addClass("active");
    		     });
    		}

    		setTimeout(function() {
    			activeNav();
    		}, 100);

    	});

    Hope it helps you.
