So, I figured, how can I test this? Then I remembered I still have a copy of the old NS7.2 lying around, this used pretty much the pre FF1.5.0 browsing engine. I tested out the code on it, and it required the added function to find and use the nobr tag or else it would use and report the width of the iframe minus 5. So, I guess we are all happy now but, you really should upgrade your copy of FF, they've made many improvements.
