YUI/YQL performance spotty, sometimes total failure

3) Describe problem: The YUI/YQL method used to retrieve feeds is no longer being developed and has started to become intermittently unreliable. I've created a fix explained here:

This also affects its 'sister' scripts (gAjax RSS Ticker and gAjax RSS Pausing Scroller) which will also be more reliable when using this update.
