Default gAjax RSS Feeds Displayer - SSL Update

Due to recent problems in the reliability of YQL, I no longer recommend this update, nor the original script it replaced. Both problems (spotty coverage and usage on an HTTPS partition) can be solved in another manner, as documented here:

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/s...263#post322263

This is a drop in replacement for the current gAjax RSS Feeds Displayer script. It no longer needs YUI and can run on an SSL (https), which the current script cannot:

    gfeedfetcher-cors.js

It accesses YQL directly using CORS* (and uses XDomainRequest in IE 9, which doesn't do CORS).

    Hi,

Unfortunately, YQL based services will not working anymore.

On Jan. 3, 2019, YQL service at http://query.yahooapis.com will be retired. YQL based services that use http://query.yahooapis.com , including users of http://datatables.org , will no longer operate.
How we can manage this problem? What can we do to keep using gAjax RSS Feeds Displayer?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
Been using the rss script for years now and it has worked a treat. However, since the YQL service at query.yahooapis.com was retired on Jan 3 2019, it no longer works.
I wondered if there were any alternatives to this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ed
