OK, let's try to make this as easy as possible. I've made a zip file. First make a backup of everything you have that's working. Next, download this zip file:

    contentslider-help.zip

Extract its contents and put them in your http://schimkeranch.com/ folder, then navigate to http://schimkeranch.com/vid-h.htm

Should work, if not, let me check it out and see what went wrong.

Okay, I will try it today and let you know how it goes. I see where you left the code:
    Code:
var contentdivs = document.querySelectorAll('div.contentdiv') //get all ".contentdiv" elements that are also div elements
in the javascript. So if I have a horse with only text and 1 photo, I can put it into a .contentdiv and it will still read it from the main page, CORRECT?

Also, where you have the red 3 in the javascript, I just need to have the number of sliders that are called from external txt pages plus one for the API, CORRECT?
Thanks again for all your hard work!

Last question (about the red 3) - yes.

I don't understand the first question, but I'm thinking that you might be asking if you could add another slider to the page and have that one not be an AJAX slider, if the youtube API will still initialize on it if it has a youtube video. Yes you can and yes it will, but it will wait until all the other content is ready as well. Or if you mean to ask will it still be looked at by the API initialization code, even if it has no video, the answer is yes, but that won't hurt anything. If you're asking if you can have external and on page .contentdiv divs for the same slider id, that's a no. If I still didn't answer this question and you're still wondering about it or anything else, just let me know.
