Need Help with Fading scroller

I just installed the HTML for the Fading scroller and would like to eliminate the box around the text. I played around with the HTML and this is what I finally
came up with.

You will notice a small black text in the scroller area.
How do I get rid of that small black text?

Also is there a way to add "background" color?

Hmmm I don't see any "small black text."...

Regarding the 2nd question, just locate the code:

if (ie4||DOM2)
document.write('<div id="fscroller" style="border:1px solid black;width:'+fwidth+';height:'+fheight+'"></div>');

and add a CSS background attribute, such as:

if (ie4||DOM2)
document.write('<div id="fscroller" style="background-image: url(nice.gif); border:1px solid black;width:'+fwidth+';height:'+fheight+'"></div>');

where nice.gif is the path to your background image.
