    Default Open in new window/tab

    So you wanted the links to open in a new browser window, rather than just letting people straight into the linked page. What i think you need to do is just add a blank in the link html, just like this:
    <a href="" target="_blank">Visit!</a>
    unfortunately i have no idea what your other problem seems to be, please let me know if it helped or not.

Basically, I just assumed you missed all that. However, because I do not have access to all the latest browsers, I'm curious. Will a link (like the one you mentioned) with target="_blank" open in a new tab or window in the same Edge environment under which a javascript coded (for example):

    Code:"", "_blank");
    will not if it's activated as the result of an onchange event on a select element? My considerable experience says that there's no difference, and you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. But if you do, would you like to try some experiments in order to determine if this has changed? It would require that you have the Edge browser. Anyway, if you do, and you're game, so am I.
