Javascript menu

Hope someone can point me in the right direction

All I need is a collapsible menu structure.

I have 8 headings each with up to 5 sub links. When clicking on one of the main headings the sub links for that heading would display. When then clicking on a different main heading then the sublinks to that would display and the previous one would close.

I have hunted high and low but just cant find a simple script which will do it. I would prefer it all in javascript but am open to suggestions.
