Textarea Validation...need desperate help . please!!

Hi,
I have two 'Textarea' boxes(NOT input text boxes) in my webpage. i am trying to validate them. The user cannot submit the form if one of the textarea boxes are not filled. i.e at least one of them Must be filled in.

I have been trying validating textarea using the same codings that i used for Input boxes but it does not work. I cant figure out what might be the problem.

I would really appreciate if someone could post a sample validation program with two textarea boxes.

I have been trying validating textarea using the same codings that i used for Input boxes but it does not work.

Textareas use the same members common to <input> elements, so it should work unless you use some regex that doesn't like linebreaks.
