1) Script Title: Pausing up and down scroller

3) Describe problem: two problems, the first of which I am pretty sure is a bug, but not sure about the second one. I am using the top style of scroller from your page. You can see mine at: http://www.gosportglobe.uk/index.php, where the news items with image and text at the top scroll up.

Problem 1) The mouseover function that stops the scroller from scrolling does not work on the first item displayed. It only works on subsequent items. If I place the cursor over the first item it still continues to scroll, whereas if I place the cursor over subsequent items it behaves correctly and stops the scrolling action until I move the cursor, allowing me to read the item before it starts scrolling again. The same problem occurs with the scroller in your demo (the one in the box with the buff coloured background).

Problem 2) When the page first loads the first item is placed slightly to the right of where it should be and within a second or so it jumps into the correct place. You need to be quick to see it on loading or refreshing, but the jerk is definitely there.

I do hope these can be fixed.
