    Default What is https://www.youtube-nocookie.com?

    Hello everyone,

Does anyone know which company owns http(s)://www.youtube-nocookie.com? Is it safe?
It plays videos like https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/YOUTUBE-VIDEO-ID without ads, but gives a 404 for https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/watch?v=YOUTUBE-VIDEO-ID.

I've googled around, but can't find a satisfactory answer.

    Thanks.

youtube is offering a nocookie version of embed-able/regular videos. it is a google hosted/ran site.
An inline div is a freak of the web and should be beaten until it becomes a span

Thanks FrickenTrevor. Yes, that's what I've read. But why would YouTube run a nocookie version which is also free of ads?
