Default Hiding main domain when somebody accesses subdomain

    Hi folks,

I know that this does not really belong here, but I posted the question on the "Other" forum and got no reply, so hoping somebody here can help me.

I have a subdomain hosted on my website. When somebody navigates to the subdomain, the browser status bars will show the main site's address.

For example, say is a subdomain on When somebody types in, various status messages, such as resolving, connecting, transferring, will show

Is there any way to prevent browsers showing the part?

    Thanks in advance
