How do i search within a intranet website without using pearl or cgi??

The intranet site in on a common sharable drive that is accesable to all
So how could you search within the intranet website without the site being on a server .

I have created a text box a dropdown box & a search button
    dropdown use 3 options
    1) internet search that's work
    2) website search (that does not work)
    3) drive search

Can this be done if yes then how ??

    Thanks in advance.

You can't do this client-side. You need some form of server-side language, of which Perl (no A; that's the Practical Extraction and Report Language) is just one.
