Default SmoothMenu - Blank space issue when placed in bottom

    1) Script Title: Smooth Navigational Menu (v2.1)

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...smoothmenu.htm

    3) Describe problem: I have a summary page. Users can select a particular row and perform some actions. To choose the actions, I am using Smooth menu.
This will be at the bottom of the page (end of summary table). When page is loaded, blank space is shown at the bottom below the menu. If the menu options are selected then the blank space disappears. On clicking menu options, 'repositionv' function is called. Is there any way to call this function when the menu is initially rendered?

Also there is one more query. Since the menu is placed at the bottom of the page, I cannot use hover option as the menu will be expanded if the user accidentally moves mouse over it. But hover option is user friendly. Is there a way to enable toggle option only for the first level menu and once the menu is clicked the remaining options be in hover mode?
