    Default How would i go about building a "product finder"?

    hi all,

    i need to build a product finder - on my web shop, to help people find suitable products.

    I cant see many examples but i did come across: http://www.wacom.com/en/us/product-finder

    The idea is the same, however, i would want to make it visually more appealing - and i sell pretty technical products, so there would be help & advice with each selection... perhaps in the form of infographics and then have the possible answers click through to the next question...

    While doing so each click would add a parameter to a URL - so the end result would be something like: productfinder.asp?scri=31&sprice=200-600

    Where "scri=31" was one answer & "sprice=200-600" was another answer...

    The important thing is the presentation - it needs to be more than just text based questions and answers - it needs to be user friendly... I am not a programmer but would like advice it what technologies could perform this task - with any examples would be great...

    let me know
    James

    What are you wanting is extremely advance which will require great time and programming skill. This reason is that you will have use algorithms a long with other things. It really would take quite a while to type with examples and everything you are looking for.
