Pop up box with information from database

I have created a webpage that collates data used in a call center.

The information that is collated can be quite long notes, so when the agent needs to review what they have written the format looks poor on the layout

I am thinking of removing that part and adding a link that the agent can click that pops up a box to view the long notes

The information comes from a database using ASP

Anyone got any ideas on how to create the link to the pop up box?
