Ajax XML Ticker question

I am using the Ajax XML Ticker (txt file source) found here:

It works very well but I was wondering if there was a similar script that could be placed in the subheader of my website? The above script only works in the body of the page.

What do you mean by subheader? Everything you can see on a page is in the body.
