Question Scripts or Active X Warning - Glossy Accordion Menu

I am a Newbe, that said I have gotten several menus from DynamicDrive.com to work. Good job Guys!

All the menus, from DymanicDrive, I have gotten to work are causing the following warning " Internet Explorer restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls."

When I go to your web pages "http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ddaccordionmenu-glossy.htm" I do not get any warning messages.

As a casual website visitor I would not enable the Scripts or ActiveX on a web page I did not know. Thus it is important to me to fix this warning.

Can you please help me understand how to correct this warning? Below is the code I am using for Glossy Accordion Menu. It should be a direct copy of the code in your example.

    THANKS, Craigm

Don't use IE, use some other browser for local testing. Or put the page up live. Once live, there will be no such problem even in IE.

Depending on the script you want to test locally, there may even be issues with Google Chrome and/or Opera in certain cases. There won't be such problems on the internet. So your casual website visitor won't be frightened.

In my experience, local testing is best done with Firefox.

You are exactly correct. Once I moved to a production server the problem went away. I tested your solution by uploading a test web site to a production web server and life was good!

    Thank You, CraigM
