Slide show covering drop down menus

3) Describe problem: I have a few drop down menu buttons that were created in Fireworks and imported into Dreamweaver as Fireworks HTML image objects. Below those buttons is the slideshow. When the cursor moves over the drop down menu button, the drop down menu list shows for a second and then is obscured by the slide show as it starts to transition between the images. I've been trying to resolve this for hours...very frustrating. I'm creating this website in Dreamweaver. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
