Would like to use Background Image Carousel

3) Describe problem: Caution novice user! background remains black. I have madeathe customizations called out on the site page and the only thing that I can think of is I might not have the path to images defined correctly. In your example you just have the 'name.jpg', but I would assume you need the entire path like this example:"/images/name.jpg" I have tried it both ways and it doesn't want to boot up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is intentional. You can change this in the various style rules.

What do you mean by "boot up"? Please describe what actually happens.

The script does not require any particular URL format. Have you confirmed that your images exist, in the correct location?

Hey thanks a lot. I am just learning and really appreciate the help. This carousel is great and should work well with my navigation. Also, i did mean to suggest anything with the "boot up" term other that the carousel would not initiate.

When checking the page source it gives a " 404 error page not found"

fix that and it may work

Also, you can (and should!) use your browser's dev tools to do a little bit of troubleshooting on your own. [F12] is the key to press in most browsers. Personally, I like Chrome's dev tools best, but Fx tools are very good too, and I hear nice things (believe it or not) about IE9+. In this case, you'd see something like:

Oftentimes, you'll be able to find a solution -or at least, the specific problem- right away.
Even if you see something you don't understand, information from the console can be very helpful (and is much appreciated) when you ask others for help.
