I am using your script on my website www.artv.at / http://www.artv.at/photos/_photofade4.html

and it seems that I cannot use more than 45 pictures on one slideshow ... ?
is there an way to increase the number of pictures used ... ??

There's virtually no limit to the number of images. They are however much like normal images on a page. The more there are, the longer it takes the page to load. This is lessened a bit due to the way that the slideshow preloads the images after the page has been parsed. But this is only an apparent savings, the images still have to download.

Getting back to your question - if the slideshow stops working after adding a 46th image, you probably made a syntax error like a missing comma or an unescaped nested quote mark. But it's possible it's something else. If you want more help, we will need to see your slideshow not working. We can't fix it while it's working.

good point ... thxxx ...
but ! ... I got suckered by the randomize feature ...
having that many pictures in the slideshow
it's just taking a very long time sometimes for a certain picture to show up ...

I have put the second slideshow on 'randomize:false' ... just to control if the newest picture is loaded ...
and by watching the slideshows long enough ... all pictures are showing ... also number 46 ... and up ...
