I had sent greetings to some members those who are known to me, some of them ethically responded and greeted me back, but i don't what happened to remaining some law makers here in DD ?

Amen on how to respond, but never assume your greeting will be met as appreciatively. Even a generic, "Happy Holidays!" will offend someone who thinks strongly that it should be "Merry Christmas!", or whatever.

Always best to be on the safe side. As John said not everyone wishes to engage in the Christmas Cheer.Why ? All can celebrate, send greetings to those who are celebrating and not celebrating is good..

And even if they wish to engage in the cheer, they may want to do it in a 'neutral way'. So they use 'Happy Holidays' or 'Happy Days'.
For me it's the 26th too, but it's not over yet We have two 'Happy-Holidays-days' here: the 25th and the 26th.
