    Default Powerzoom Image is squished in left 2% of image

    1) Script Title: PowerZoomer

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...owerzoomer.htm

    3) Describe problem:

    I have the script installed and everything looks fine, however I ony get a zoom on the left 5% of the image. This zoom is of the image as if it had been shrunk. Any idea what is causing this?

    Sometimes this sort of thing can be caused by css intended to make regular images on the page 'responsive'. That is to resize depending upon how much room there is for them on the user's screen. The most common css rule that is used for responsiveness that also conflicts with these sort of scripts is:

    Code:
    img {max-width: 100%;}
    So, if you have that in your styles for the page, either get rid of it or make it more specific, like:

    Code:
    img.respond {max-width: 100%;}
    And then only give the class 'respond' to images you want this to happen to, ex:

    HTML Code:
    <img class="respond" src="some.jpg" alt="">
    The browser cache may need to be cleared and/or the page refreshed to see changes.

    But it might be something else. Also even if it is this, it might be a problem to give a specific class to each image like that. In that case the script would need to be edited, as it gives no class to the zoomed images.

    If you want more help, please include a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic code so we can check it out.
