Please help unravel tangle at home page image gallery installation

3) Describe problem: I love this script for my site homepage image gallery BUT:

1. Can I insert a live link to the images full descriptives at the image caption option??? This is key so if not, please suggest a similar script to do it.

2. When I installed the script it worked...then I inserted my images PERFECTLY and it is not working. In Safari and iPad it displays the Throbber and the static caption in lower right corner, but in Firefox and Chrome it displays nothing at all...just the icon for broken image link. ALSO : the script I use must work in all browsers and devices.
