Ultimate Fade In Slideshow v2.0 and protected directories

I am having issues with this slideshow script --specifically with the jquery.min.js file which is attached to it. When I first uploaded it to my website, it cancelled the other jquery file, so I renamed this one as jquery.min2.js. All went well until I put it on a slideshow in a password-protected directory.
Now I have to enter my username and password to view each slide show -- and there will be several.

I found a possible culprit on line 62 of the file named jquery.min.js featuring "password" functions (I think). I would like to remove this portion of the code -- without destroying the rest of the functions needed to make the slideshow successful.

Please advise as soon as you can, so I can resolve this issue. Thanks, javascript expert "angels".

It's hard to say without seeing the page and poking around a bit. But the first thing I would try is getting rid of jquery.min2.js and then in the slideshow script, using a text only editor like NotePad, comment out the noConflict() directive here as shown (add the red slashes):
