Question Problem with Server Side Includes

Several months ago, I decided to rework my website to incorporate Server Side Includes. Because all my pages are .html, and I did not want to rename them all, I contacted my website host company and ask them to fix it on the server so that includes would work with my pages. They did that. I created some test pages with includes and uploaded and tested them. Everything worked fine. I emailed some friends, who tested them out. Everything worked fine. So, I went ahead last Friday and updated the whole site (275 pages). After I uploaded all 275 pages, I tested around 75 of them. Everything worked fine. I asked some friends to test some of the pages. Everything worked fine, with the three includes (the top nav bar, the side nav bar, and the footer) all showing up for everyone.

This morning, I pulled up one of the pages and discovered (to my horror) that the Server Side Includes were missing on all the pages, with the exception of the home page, which does not use includes! I have no idea what happened. I did not make any changes to the coding. I called my hosting service and asked them to check. The guy told me that the SSI thing on the server had been turned off. (I had not touched it. I don't even know how to turn it on and off. When I set up server side includes, someone at the hosting site fixed it for me.) He turned it back on again, but the includes are still not showing up. He investigated and then came back and told me that the problem was in my coding and referred the problem to a "Tier 2" technician.

Meanwhile, I would like some feedback on what, if anything, is wrong with the code (which worked just fine until this morning). Here is the code for one of the page (http://adirondackvic.org/Art-at-the-...er-2013.html):

<li><a href="http://dianeleifheit.com/">Diane Leifheit</a> creates fine art pastel paintings of the Adirondack rural wilderness. She has been a member of the Adirondack Artists Guild for 9 years. Leifheit shows her work at the Guild on Main Street in Saranac Lake on a year-round basis. "I've focused my work on where I live in the northern Adirondacks. It is no accident that several pieces represent the VIC.* It is my back yard.&rdquo; said Leifheit.</li>
<li>Photographer Jon Chodat's photographs display an acute level of observation; from a hummingbird hovering within the flashy red of a monarda flower to the stillness of the Great Blue Heron waiting for dinner in the reflected gold of an autumn river. Chodat says of his work, "My work is what I have a passion for." Chodat's work has been shown regionally from Lake Placid Center for the Arts to studios in Malone.* He has accrued several awards for his careful and intense photos.</li>

Your link [http://adirondackvic.org/Art-at-the-Paul-Smiths-VIC-New-Moon-Art-Show-September-2013.html):] is an incorrect url. When I replace it with http://adirondackvic.org/Art-at-the-Paul-Smiths-VIC-New-Moon-Art-Show-September-2013.html, I get a normal page with a header for Paul Smith's College plus a left menu and a top menu. The links on that page bring me to other pages with the same header and menus. So that looks normal. The whole problem seems to be an incorrect url.
