Background Color Question

I have a page (lets call it test.html) that gets loaded into an iframe with pictures and test.html has a background color of black on the page. But when I click on the link to open a the page with this iframe into a new window the background color of test.html during the preload phase is white and then changes black when everything is loaded. So, can anyone give me any advice or help on how to change the BG color during or before the preload phase?

Set the iframe element's background-color.

Thanks Twey. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. Brain fart I guess. Lol something soo easy and stupid but threw me off.
