issues with AJAX XML ticker (txt file)

3) Describe problem:
What ever value i set the refetchdata value to it seems that once the tickercontent.txt file has been updated by the ajax script the ticker seems to end up miss timing displaying the updates and so seems to fail to show each message for the pause time value correctly eg after updating , meg 1 will show for 20 secs (as set) then msg 2 will show for less than 1 sec then msg three will show for 20 secs.

tickercontent file is updated via ftp upload.

any help greatfully recived!

thanks for your reply Bud,

link posted as requested, the issues only seem to come when the tickercontent.txt are updated, then the timing for each message seems to go wrong.
